A curious mind and an unconventional life.

I’m a coach and author who helps you release old beliefs and patterns that no longer serve you.

How I got here

I’ve immersed myself in personal growth work for more than 40 years and studied how trauma and dysfunction impact feelings, how feelings create beliefs, and how beliefs guide perception and outcomes.

Why? Because I wanted to heal myself.

Being adopted at birth, experiencing my mother’s two divorces before I was six, meeting my biological parents, and the chaos surrounding all of that made it difficult for me to appreciate life’s goodness—heck, to even believe in it.

I’ve used more than my share of drugs and alcohol, experienced depression and spent many years wondering what the point is, knowing the whole time, deep down inside, that there had to be more. I kept searching.

I left home at 18 and traveled across the country. I worked in a rock-and-roll nightclub, spent 12 years managing comedians and producing comedy events, created and marketed products, and cooked for celebrities and Jesuit priests. I’ve told stories on stages and published a novel. It sounds like fun, and yet I still wasn’t happy.

Finally, after trying many approaches that lined the pockets of “experts” but didn’t help, I found work that turned my life around. I began unpacking the beliefs, perceptions, and feelings that stunted my view of life without me even knowing it. I also got sober.

My approach is down-to-earth, practical, and straightforward. I help you cultivate compassion for yourself, identify the places you are blind to, and learn how not to say “yes” when you mean “no.”

When you commit, you’ll begin to recognize yourself and experience life in a whole new way. I know I did.
